Hey, long time no see~ Looks like my energy and motivation are slowly coming back 🥰 It's one of my goals for this year to properly get into this again, making icons and participating in icon communities (submitting, commenting, and voting).

It's not much, but here are the icons I've been sharing around this couple of months:




Ok, this might be cheating a bit because technically I made these last year, but it wasn't until january that I found them again and decided to share them on smallbatchicons

I felt like making a small themed set where all the icons had the same exact things done to them, which is not something I usually do.





Made for nexticon

This was the first icon I made this year. I wanted to get back into it and picked this challenge because it requires making only one icon, and it had been some time since the last one was posted. Even though this was my first time participating, I've been subscribed for some time and always liked the concept of this challenge a lot. It makes me happy to think that I contributed to revive the community (❁´◡`❁)





Made for the 47th round of ic_animated

For this round we had to use stuff with names that started with the letter B and I was very ????? until I remembered that Kuroshitsuji's english name is Black Butler lol. God bless.

I actually made a list of other manga series that start with that letter and I could use, but in the end none of the things I tried with those were good enough for my taste. I also tried to make more Black Butler icons but those didn't work either and then I ran out of time and inspiration, so I only submitted these two in the end.

When it comes to joining challenges I like submitting the max number of icons allowed, and it makes me sad not being able to but I decided that it's better to submit one or two than none at all. I don't want to beat myself up for this.

Made for the 166th round of iconthat

Really wanted to participate in this round because I love icons with text even though making them is literal hell on earth. Every single step of the process of adding text to an icon is torture. The only reason I managed to make this one is that I had been thinking about this idea for some time, and I really really wanted to make it.

When I tried to make other icons for this challenge I ended up coming up with nothing, my brain just magically forgot every single quote I've ever thought about using for this. Welp. At this point I'm just glad I managed to make one at least lol.





Made for the 8th quick battle of itsabattlefield

Not sure if I've ever mentioned this on DW but I love St Valentine's day and the whole aesthetic that surrounds it. I'm a sucker for it, and when I saw the provided texture for this battle I really wanted to join. It was just one icon too so it didn't feel too intimidating, and I'm very pleased with the result.
